UVC dosimeter dots are designed to be used to measure and verify ultraviolet germicidal irradiation exposure on a surface. They are ideal for healthcare environments where UVC lights are used to sanitize patient rooms, exam rooms, PPE, and medical tools, and in manufacturing facilities.
The dosimeter dots use a photochromatic ink that changes color as it is exposed to ultraviolet UVC light at 253.7nm. They have a self-adhesive backing, so can be placed on nearly any surface in a room.
Benefits
- Real time results measuring UVC exposure
- Can decrease cycle times
- Several color changes indicate UVC thresholds have been reached
- Measures specific UVC radiation intensity
- Indicates dosages up to 100 mJ/cm2
- Small, easily portable dots (1″ diameter)
- Color reference chart to indicate dosages
- Fast, easy verification method for UVC disinfection
